Smart Routing,
Proxy That Fits Your Life
Clash is more than a proxy — its rule engine knows what to route direct and what to proxy. You barely notice it's there. Download once, stop worrying about the network.

Questions Every Beginner Asks
Common getting-started questions answered — skip the pitfalls.
The key difference is split routing. Clash's rule engine decides which domains/IPs route direct and which go through your proxy — traffic matching direct rules stays local (no speed impact), only traffic needing a proxy goes through nodes. Traditional VPNs tunnel all traffic, slowing down even local sites. If you want selective, policy-based routing, Clash gives a far better experience. For occasional use with low performance needs, a simple VPN works too.
After installing, just three steps:
1. Get a subscription link — from your proxy provider, a URL starting with https://;
2. Import subscription in the client — paste the link, the client downloads config and node list automatically;
3. Enable system proxy or TUN mode — then visit any site to verify.
See our setup guide for detailed steps.
Original Clash for Windows stopped maintenance in 2023. Migrate to Clash Plus (completely free, clean modern UI, zero config) or Clash Verge Rev (open source, most feature-complete, for power users). Both fully support existing subscription links — install and import your old link with almost zero migration cost.
Mihomo (Clash core) supports nearly all major protocols: VMess, VLESS (including Reality), Trojan, Shadowsocks, ShadowsocksR, Socks5, HTTP, plus next-gen anti-packet-loss protocols Hysteria2 and TUIC, and WireGuard outbound. If your provider supports any of these, Clash can use it.
Always download from our official download page — we verify every version's source for integrity. Avoid search ads, cloud drive shares, or unknown forum posts — these channels may contain malware. Compare SHA256 hashes before installing for extra verification.
Clash core (Mihomo) and major clients (Clash Verge Rev, ClashX, Clash Meta for Android, etc.) are open source and completely free — no paid features or subscriptions. The only separate cost is "proxy node service" (your provider) — a third-party proxy server subscription from your provider, unrelated to Clash software. This site provides client downloads only, no node sales.
